Fruit of the Womb

I remember the day that my oldest daughter was born.  It brings back good memories and some sorrow.  My husband, who is with the Lord now, was so calm that day.   I was scurrying around the house getting everything ready to go to the hospital.  He sat on the couch reading. Which irritated me, to say the least. I look back and remember thinking, “how could he be reading a book when we are about to have a baby.”

This memory is a mixed bag as my daughter will have another birthday without her father and I will miss the special memories that my husband and I made together.  I am so thankful that God knows my heart and has showered His blessings on my family.

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Psalms 127:3-4
