Forgiveness, a word that brings up fear, anger, rebellion and a hard heart to many.
“How could I possibly forgive him?” A statement that I have heard often or even worse someone who declares they have forgiven, however, their actions and voice do not reflect that it is the case. They are deceived.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean that what someone has done to you was right. However, it allows you to be right in God’s eyes. “It is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself.
“as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do..” Col 3:12-13
