“Yet you know me, Lord; you see me and test my thoughts about you.  Drag them off like sheep to be butchered!  Set them apart for the day of slaughter!”  Jeremiah 12:3

Often, when we are treated unfairly and see the wicked prosper, we want God to step up to the plate and take care of the situation.   We certainly have a just God.  However, pride or religiosity can lead us away from God.  God knows the plan, and we need to trust Him to accomplish what He desires in and through us.  We should only be concerned with our relationship with the Lord, not compare ourselves with others.

Jesus answered Peter, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.”  John 21:22
