Fear

Fear is false evidence appearing real. Fear projects into the future. Fear is caused by a heart that needs healing.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

David at times appeared to be afraid. However, David proclaimed that He was not going to be afraid and that he trusted God. Sometimes we need to encourage ourselves to keep our focus where it belongs, on our mighty God that can move mountains.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

The Lord will illuminate, Bring the truth forward. Why should you fear! You can trust God in all situations to tell you what to do and to keep you safe. He loves you so.

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

Lord, I ask in the name of Jesus that you cause your people to hear your lovingkindness and show them the way they should go. Heal their hearts and bind up the wounds. I pray this in Jesus name.
