Fear of Failure

Moses had a Fear of Failure. God chose him to go deliver the Israelites and Moses gave the Lord one excuse after another of why he was not a good pick for the job.

“But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:11

“But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you.’ ” Exodus 4:1

“Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” Exodus 4:10

“But he said, “O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.” Exodus 4:13

when God picks you, He will equip you. You do not need to Fear Failure.

“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with every good thing to do His will. And may He accomplish in us what is pleasing His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21
