Fear controls and wants to have you; it is a stronghold. Fear (False Evidence Appearing Real) can affect your soul (will, mind and emotions) and cause you not to fulfil your purpose in Christ.  

Fear comes in through an open door in your life, an area not submitted to Christ. James 4:7 says, “…submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”  

Every time fear comes knocking on your door, declare, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Perfect love cast out fear (1 John 4:18). If you are struggling to receive the Lord’s love, pray, “Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.” (Psalm 143:8).
