“According to your faith let it be to you.”
Matthew 9:29 NKJV
Faith is what gives us the evidence of the things not seen.
“When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened. “
Matthew 9:27-30 NKJV
The two blind men had heard of Jesus, the Messiah and followed Him, seeking a miracle. It must not have been easy to follow Jesus, being blind, yet they pushed forward determined. They could have easily said that healings or miracles were for those people; He can’t do that for us. Yet, they had hope; they believed.
“faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
Jesus says, “According to your faith”, not your friend’s faith or parents’ faith, but your faith, may you receive what I have to give you. If you struggle with the faith to be healed, there is hope because faith comes by hearing.
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
