Extreme Living

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)/tendancies can drive you to extreme living; can cause you to strive and control yourself and others.

The Obsessive part of the disorder drives recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses and causes anxiety. The obsession/addiction puts God on the back burner.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Phil 4:8 KJV

You need to take control of your thoughts. Stop yourself from thinking and meditating on things that make you anxious or drive you to do things. Ask the Lord to help you and ask Him what He would like you to do at that moment.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2

The Compulsive aspect of the disorder carries out the action. You need to break the chain of events. Stop yourself from having this drive and desire to carry out what your thoughts are meditating on.

I bind and cage spirit of fear, bondage, addiction, OCD, anxiety, stress, insecurity, control, self-rejection, self-hate, mental illness, mindbinding, perfectionism in the name of Jesus and Loose faith, Holy Spirit, truth, peace, and a sound mind in the name of Jesus.
