Doubt makes you question what you believe; and directs your path just as much as faith.
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23
In 1967, Time magazine reported on Marines under fire at ‘Con Thein’ Vietnam (translated ‘Place of Angels’) but as Time Magazine declared it was something “more akin to hell.” The leadership began to doubt, the soldiers and the American people questioned whether the war could be won. Doubt became an epidemic; fear followed, and it brought division within our country.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
As we see our nation today going down this same path, hide God’s word in your heart and believe, “I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds.” Psalm 77:11-12.
