Don’t Beat Yourself Up

Don’t Beat Yourself Up

There are times in our lives when tragedy can create movies in our mind that play over and over. In time, this repetition can be torturous. If we have lost a loved one, we may have a series of “what ifs” running through our mind. “If only I would have…”

We need to make a decision to have a new image ready to take the place of the old one each time it appears. As time passes, the old movie will not have its power.

Spiritually, getting healing by reading God’s word, we can combat what scripture calls “the accuser of the brethren”. Satin, our enemy, wants to put thoughts in our mind that do not bring peace. When “we have the mind of Christ” (I Corinthians 2:16b), he has no power over us.

“…for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before God day and night, has been cast down.”

Revelation 12:10b  NKJV
