Do you trust God?

Do you trust God? I mean, really trust God. Not only for the little things but also for the big things in your life.

The Hebrew word trust is batach “to attach oneself… to confide in, feel safe, be confident, secure.”

Do you trust God to provide you with a job, deliver your child from using drugs or even healing a sick relative from cancer?

God says He gives us all things, nothing is left out of “all”. This is the trust that God wants us to have. All things are for the taking, they are His great and precious promises. We need to claim them. God doesn’t say I will give this person some of my promises.

“as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4

Seek out the promises of God, “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” 2 Col 1:20
