Do you know your God?

“… If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” John 10:24

Have you ever met someone that goodness abounds all around them, and yet they cannot see that it is God?

The Pharisees were such people, and there are many spiritually blind today. The Feast of Dedication (today called Hannakuk) was at hand (John 10:22), celebrating deliverance from Antiochus IV Epiphanes’ rule. Antiochus typified the antichrist. Jesus was in the Temple preaching. Yet, the Pharisees could not see the goodness of Christ even though they experienced the opposite of Him.

“Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.” John 10:25. They were blinded by their pride, jealousy, envy and insecurity.

Remember, in these last days, there are going to be many anti-christ that come (1 John 2:18/Mathew 24:5), “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:32
