Do you have peace? I was asked this question once, and when I stopped to think about it, the truth pierced my soul. No, I didn’t even understand what peace was, let alone have peace.

“The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭6‬:‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Peace can elude us. However, if we meet the conditions God sets out for us, we can acquire it. I will keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind fixed on me (Is 26:3). What a promise. Peace is one of those invisible attributes of God with a real impact; it is God (The Lord of Peace) and the fruit of the Spirit.

When we are in Christ, we have peace. 

When we are delivered from the hand of the enemy, we have peace. 

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him. (Is 53:5). Jesus took what we deserved on the cross to give us peace.

In these last days, we need to be “diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;”
