Do you have patience?
Enduring trials requires patience. Look at Job. The only place in the New Testament that mentions Job is in the book of James about patience.
“Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.” James 5:11
We are told throughout scripture we are to have patience. One of the fruits of the spirits in Galatians 5 is patience.
Isaiah 28:16 says, “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”
Is impatience the mark of unbelief and not trusting God?
Lord, we ask that you help us endure all things. If there is unbelief in our hearts, root it out. Increase our faith. I pray this in Jesus’ name.
