Joy is not conditioned on how we feel; it is not based on our circumstances but Jesus.
We are commanded to rejoice, “Rejoice always,” 1 Thess 5:16. GOD doesn’t say it one time only, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Phil 4:4.
How many Christians are rejoicing? How do you have Joy when you are suffering?
- We need to not focus on the problems but on the one who is the restorer of all things.
- Set your hope on the one whose nature is Joy, “The hope of the righteous will be gladness,” Proverbs 10:28
- Remain in Christ, “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy;” Psalm 16:11
God can fill us with all Joy, “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
