Do You Have an Imaginary Friend?
When my son was young he had an imaginary friend. The friend was a companion for my son. Sometimes we can see Jesus as a figment of our imagination. But, the fact is, He is real and alive. When Jesus ascended into heaven, He sent a comforter, the Holy Spirit to live in us. When we make Jesus Lord of our lives, we have the assurance of His Spirit always being with us to bring us comfort and guidance.
“And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
Romans 5:3-5 NKJV
