Do you have a false burden?

Are you carrying something that the Lord should carry?  Do you have a false burden?

As I prayed, I asked God to show me if I have anything in my heart that is not of Him.   He showed me I had sorrow in my heart for my girls.  Overwhelming anguish as a result of my husband’s death.  I was carrying a false burden.   I realized that I could not take away my children’s loss of their father, grief, sorrow or restore what they have lost.    I had committed my children to the Lord, at least I thought I had let all go.

As a result of God showing me what I couldn’t see, I had to do my part to purify my heart.  I commanded all false burdens to leave me in the name of Jesus, and then I asked the Lord to help me give all to Him.

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1

“The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility].”  Habakkuk 3:19 AMP

I thank you, Lord, for what you are going to do in and through my (Your) children.  I praise you Lord for Your grace and mercies and being a father to the fatherless.

Ask the Lord to search your heart, listen for the answer and act upon the leading of the Holy Spirit.  Blessings will come.
