Do you desire to be joy-filled?

“But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.” Jeremiah 7:23

The word “well” in Hebrew is yāṭaḇ, and it means to be glad and joyful. So if we want our life to be joy-filled, then we have some conditions to meet.

We must first open up our ears to listen to God and obey what He says. Obedience brings blessings (Deut 28:1-14); disobedience brings curses. (Deut 28:25).

Second, we must walk in His ways.

“But He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold. “My foot has held fast to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside. “I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:10-12
