Do you believe the message?

Who has believed?

“Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” Isaiah 53:1 NIV

What a question. Who has believed our message? What is Isaiah leading us to understand? What is He asking?

You shall be redeemed, and it will cost you nothing (Isaiah 52:3). Yet, it cost Jesus all He had. God says through Isaiah, “My people will know my name” (Isaiah 52:6). God desires that we not only be brought back from captivity but also know Him. Intimately know Him, like a husband knows his wife. Not just head knowledge.

You may be saying, well this message is not for me. I am not a captive; what about your thought patterns? Do you think about good things, or do negative thoughts creep in? How about your emotions? Do they control you? How about food, shopping, and social media? Do they control your actions and how you spend your time?

God desires to set us free. God has a strong arm. He is able

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” Ephesians 3:20

The power that works in us is the Holy Spirit. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead.

You can overcome through Jesus Christ and what He has done for you on the cross (Revelation 12:11). Rely on God’s power today!

“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” 1 Cor 1:18
