Do You Agree With God?
I am learning to pray like Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew the sixth chapter. He wants God’s will to be done on this earth as it is already transpiring in heaven. (Verse 10)
When I am praying for physical healing or spiritual healing for a friend or loved
one, I know it is God’s will. (John 10:10) Now, I have to agree with God and after I pray with faith (“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1) I need to see what has not yet manifested. If I am talking to someone after I have prayed and say I don’t think there is any hope for the one I have prayed, I am not agreeing with God and I am double minded.
I believe when we put our total trust in God, He hears us. (“If you ask anything in My [Jesus] name, I will do it.” John 14:14) We either agree with God’s word or we don’t. The important thing is to believe in God’s total word and love letter that He has sent us.
