Do We Really Believe?

Many times we read the Bible stories like they are some historical event, or even worse, fiction. For example, when was the last time you experienced watching someone being brought back from the dead by prayer? It happens all of the time around the world. It only happens where there is faith to see it happen.

The word of God is a living word and Jesus gave us power to do the things He did once He left this earth. When we can grasp the truth that God can do anything it brings hope and increases our faith.

“He said to them, ‘Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.’ And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.”

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
