Do We Have a Choice?

Do We Have a Choice?

I was waiting in line when a 7 year old boy was asking his dad if they had a choice. The wise father said, “We always have a choice, but there are consequences for our choices.” I couldn’t hear what the child was asking his father, but the response was, “If we do that, we will get kicked out of the store.”

When we are at the end of our rope, we have a choice. Do we give up or look for more rope? After a great loss or tragedy we must look at the sunshine of that new day and not cover our heads with the blanket. If we ask God to help us, He will. He has many promises in His love letter to us.

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Joshua 24:15  NKJV
