The world desires you to conform to its ways. You must decide and follow through to abstain from the things that will draw you into sin. Every day temptation will be before you. Jesus was even tempted, “if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” Luke 4:7

I remember travelling down the road one day, and I was late for an appointment, and I was going over the speed limit. The Lord said to me, how can I trust you with the big things if I can’t trust you with the little things. 

God is testing us every moment as well. “What is man, that You should exalt him, That You should set Your heart on him, That You should visit him every morning, And test him every moment? Job 7:17-18. 

God is not testing us to condemn us but so that we can live the abundant, Godly life in Christ. 

“For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John 2:16-17
