Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects are they a good idea? You would think so, after all, scripture says, “…make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.” 1 Thess 4:11-12

I can tell you from experience, doing a project without the Lord is never a good idea. It will cost you more than you want to spend.

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3
