When you or someone you love has experienced discrimination. You may have lost hope, trust, innocence, or love. How you respond to the discrimination is critical. Anger may be your first reaction.
“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,” 1 James 1:19
If you are harboring anger and bitterness, ask the Lord to carry this burden and change your heart and the heart of those that discriminated against you.
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6 NKJV
The Bible is very clear who we are in Christ, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28 NKJV
