Rollercoasters can be fun. I was just on one at Bush gardens, and it was so scary I had to close my eyes the whole ride.  

Damaged emotions can feel like you are on a scary rollercoaster ride that will never end, and you can’t just close your eyes. You need to deal with the problem that has caused your emotions to be damaged.

Unresolved grief (loss of a loved one, divorce, job, health) and trauma (abuse, rape, rejection, accidents) are the leading causes of damaged emotions and can open the door for the enemy to try and destroy your life and make you ineffective for God.   

Inner healing is required, and it may take some time for the Lord to heal completely.   

Jesus said, “He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted” (Luke 4:18 NKJV). If you have been hurt, God wants to help you.
