What is Your Current Renovation Project?

There are many home renovation projects that are available to watch on television. Many times it consists of gutting the structure down to the bare studs in the house. Surprises are found in the walls such as wood rot, mold or even dangerous electrical wiring. It is always necessary to see inside of the walls to fix potential problems.

Our bodies are referred to as a house or temple in I Corinthians 3:16. As we all know our bodies or our spiritual body needs renovation. When we are at our wits end, trying to figure out what to do in a traumatic situation, we tend to rely on our own will, solution and determination. When we gut ourselves of our self, we can rebuild with reliable materials.

“For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.”

Hebrews 3:4  NKJV

Having a firm foundation is necessary for any building. When we rely on Jesus for the solution to our problems, instead of ourselves, we will stand firm and cannot sink into depression, destructive behaviors and other unhealthy choices.

Just invite Him into your heart to be Lord of your life.

“…Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
