Cry Uncle

When I was young, I always thought it was a dumb thing to do when the boys would fight to show off. When they were winning, they would say to their opponent, “Cry uncle”. Basically, the defeated needed to ask for mercy before the winner would let go.

The scripture tells us how important it is to have mercy on people. It is so important that we will receive mercy in the same proportion that we have given.

“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” James 2:13  NKJV

We need to be careful how we treat others.
