Crossroads of Life
My granddaughter is turning 21 years old today. I was there to witness her birth and now she is a responsible young woman. She is pursing her studies to make her dreams come true, and she has made her decision to follow Jesus.
This age is a major crossroad in life. Who we choose as friends determines what decisions we will make for the future. The school we attend may determine who will be our life partner. Where we choose to live can lead to a ministry we never conceived in our mind.
But when we put Jesus as our guide in all of these decisions, we know things will work to His honor and glory. He wants the best for us and occasionally will say no to some of our prayer requests because He wants to protect us. Obedience to God brings blessings. And I know that as my granddaughter goes forward, letting Jesus lead her in every way, she will experience joy.
“For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Romans 16:19,20 NKJV
