A loss promotes change. You are taken from one course of life to another.
When turbulence comes into your life through a loss (loss of a loved one, health, financial security, etc) you may feel as if you are standing on shaky ground. The stable, comfortable, planned out life becomes uncertain. Fear of what the future may bring causes lack of mobility. God will take you from standing on one bank (uncertainty/shaky ground) to the other (trusting in Him, on firm ground). You have to trust the Lord to take you through these turbulent times. He will help you cross over.
“My feet stand on level ground; in the great congregation I will praise the Lord.” Psalm 26:12
“Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:3, 5
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Deut 31:6
