A course correction is required when you are off your designated, pre-mapped route. God has pre-mapped your course. Do you require a course correction?   Sometimes we voluntarily correct the course and other times it takes circumstances for us to change the direction.   Like any other correction, it is meant for our good.

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11 ESV
