Counting the Promises

Have you ever counted all of the promises God has made to us? For many years I have had a “promise box”. It is shaped like a loaf of bread and holds many small cards with promises from the scripture printed on each side.

Even if God has promised us food, clothes, never to leave us, protection, healing, peace, comfort, etc, the most important promise of all: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”              John 3:16,17  NKJV
