Jesus was convicted and crucified as a “pretender/counterfeit.” Amazing thought. The real thing put to death.

Who crucified Jesus? Many think that Satan the real counterfeit. After all, he comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). The answer is a little more profound and may surprise you. God put His son to death.

“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32

God gave Him up for us all. He did not spare His son.

What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good. The victory was won that day and Jesus mission was fulfilled. He came to destroy the works of the devil (John 8:38).

We are victorious as well, victorious in Him. It is through His shed blood we walk in victory. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,” Rev 12:11
