Just turn on the television and you may feel your blood start to boil. This may be righteous anger, where you are outraged by the injustice in the world.
However, many today struggle with anger that rises up and lashes out. You can control these outbursts and even get rid of the root of the problem.
“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Eph 4:31-32
When anger starts to rise, stop your thought patterns; keep your mouth closed until you can speak kind words; and, forgive the person that has provoked you.
“The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression.” Proverbs 19:11
