What is the secret of being content?  According to God’s word, contentment is something we have to learn. 

The Apostle Paul says, “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” Phil 4:11.   

Are we content where God has placed us? Are we content with what God has called us to do? Are we content in all things and all situations?  

David is a good example for us. He proclaimed what he wanted to be,

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1 NKJV; 

“The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” Psalm 23:1 NIV

“The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.” Psalm 23:1 NLT

Notice the different translations…  When the Lord is your Shepherd, you don’t want for anything; you have all you need.  You are content.
