Condemnation or Conviction?

Condemnation or Conviction?

Jesus did not come into the world to condemn us. He came to change us from a life of bondage to freedom. People see God in different ways. Some see Him as a strong fisted and angry God. Some see Him as a pushover, and others see Him as just and loving. The way we see God can often depend on our life’s’ experiences.

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”  John 3:17,18  NKJV

“The Spirit of the LORD God is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”  Isaiah 61:1  NKJV
