Come boldly

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

We are directed to come boldly before God when we have a need. The Hebrew word “boldly”, meta, means “with”. We are to come without hesitation, without fear, with reverence, with open hearts, or with tears. God doesn’t put a condition on the need; it can be any need. He says with love, “Come…in time of need”

We are able to come because of what Jesus Christ has done on the cross. He was the high priest, the sacrifice once and for all. We have a God that has welcome arms and wants us in His presence. He hears us and acts on our requests. Come so you may “obtain mercy and find grace.”
