“…the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Now, ask the priests concerning the law, saying, “If one carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with the edge he touches bread or stew, wine or oil, or any food, will it become holy?”

You cannot be Holy just by going to Church. A change must take place in your heart and mind. The Holy Spirit brings about this change. However, God requires you to commit to Him fully and lay down your life to Him (put your body on the altar and sacrifice yourself to Him). Once this is done, God takes responsibility to reform your life; the building, the Church in itself, does not do this work.
