“I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.”. Psalms 101:2 NKJV
The most challenging time to have a blameless, perfect heart toward God is when we are alone, in our own home, and no one is watching. The TV set goes on, and a movie you know is not edifying to God comes before you…oh, this won’t hurt; it doesn’t have much violence, sex or foul language when we overindulge in food or partake in alcohol to excess.
The challenges come in the ordinary. We need to keep our guard up and our eyes on Jesus.
“I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me.”Psalms 101:3 NKJV
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”James 4:7 NKJV
