When you think of caregiving, you may envision caring for an older adult, a mother, or a father. Yet, what about the care that our Heavenly Father gives us? Couldn’t that be considered caregiving?
So, how does God care for us? After all, He is our example if you are a caregiver.
God takes all our worries (1 Peter 5:7);
He will never leave us (Hebrews 13:5);
He satisfies our needs (Psalm 23:1);
He wants to take all our burdens (Psalm 55:22);
He is with us (Isaiah 43:2); and,
He wants to shower us with His love (Psalm 143:8)
As a caregiver, you must remember you are not God, and you need to lean on Him to reflect His nature, care for someone else, and receive His care.
I pray that “you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Eph 3:19
