Can you trust your own heart?

Can you trust your own heart? Scripture says no!! The Bible tells us our hearts may deceive us.

“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” Jeremiah 17:9

If we try to follow our heart, as the world does, we could go astray and be deceived. “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool.” Proverbs 28:26

So what are we to do?

“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” Isaiah 26:4

God will show us what we need to see.
