“It is good for me that I have been afflicted…” Psalm 119:71

Suffering never feels good, and we often believe we have messed up if we are going through something difficult. Nevertheless, God may be preparing you for something greater.  

How you respond to the suffering is critical.   

David declared, “I am afflicted very much; Revive me, O Lord, according to Your word.” Psalm 119:107

God delights to do His word, “For He has torn, but He will heal us;

He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.” Hosea 6:1-2
