Jesus grew in wisdom.  “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man”. Luke 2:52.   What was His secret? 

A wise man listens to counsel (Prov 12:15)

A wise man fears the Lord and departs from evil (Prov 14:16)

A wise man will hear and increase in learning (Prov 1:5)

Give instruction to a wise man and he will be wiser (Prov 9:9)

Remember, God is the one who gives wisdom.  

James 1:5 promises that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask God, who gives it generously to everyone without finding fault.   So humble yourself before almighty God.
