Can You Bless Others?

Many of us have been in circumstances where a boss or someone did not like us for anything we have done wrong, but just didn’t like us to the point of slander and getting us fired from our job. Our heart requires healing after such an ordeal.

“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”   Matthew 5:44  NKJV

How do we bless someone that hates us? I heard someone define the act of blessing as asking God to complete His perfect destiny in that person’s life. If we understand blessing in this way it can give us an avenue to easily forgive and bless.
