“Keep silence before Me, O coastlands, And let the people renew their strength! Let them come near, then let them speak; Let us come near together for judgment.” Isaiah 41:1

God is calling all nations to be silent before Him. Those that have gone after other gods are going to be judged. Idolatry is a serious offense. God is like no other god, He is merciful, faithful and will hear your case.

I can hear the court questions…Why have you gone astray, why have you raised up someone before me. Have I not protected you and promised to bless you abundantly! No response is required, “keep silence before me.”

Then….”Present your case, says the Lord. Bring forth your strong reasons.” Isaiah 41:21

No Idol can take the place of our God. He knows the beginning from the end, He knows all things and His ways go beyond ours.

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” 1 Cor 10:13-14

Lord, “Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.” Psalm 119:34
