“But you promised!” Have you spoken these words? If so, your heart may have been let down.

These words shot out of my mouth one day. The disappointment was great. Relying on someone and then they let you down is painful. Forgiving them may even be difficult. Remember, people are human and fallible. The good news is that we can take all to God, knowing that what He promises we can count on.

‘bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do”. Col 3:13.

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deut 31:6
