Buckle Up for Safety
My parents had a ’55 Chevy. Back in 1955 there were no seatbelts in cars. When seatbelts arrived on the scene, the phrase, “Buckle Up for Safety” was the new advertisement to remind people to use them.
When we give our lives to the Lord, we are automatically enlisted in warfare against the enemy of our souls. We are given armor to protect us and it is listed in Ephesians 6:12-18; so God is saying, “Buckle Up”.
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11 NKJV
