My father passed away a few years ago. We all miss his cooking.  He used to make stollen bread on special occasions. This year I decided to buy some stollen bread for Christmas. I asked my mom if the store bought was as good as Dad’s, she said,” Nope. Your Dad put a lot of love in his bread. That was the secret ingredient.”

Similarly, that is our heavenly Father’s secret ingredient as well. “Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” God is love, “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16 NKJV
