“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:” Acts 2:20
Some of you may have seen the blood moon this morning and may be concerned that this is the end.
Acts 2:17 does start by saying, “it shall come to pass in the last days”, and we see a similar mention reference of a blood moon in Joel 2:31 (blood moon coming in the great and terrible day of the Lord) and the book of Revelation verse 6:12.
Each of these events is tied to God’s wrath (Day of the Lord) and coming of Christ. In order for the terrible day of the Lord, the Day of Lord, the last days and Christ to come, we must go through Satan’s wrath.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Mathew 24:29-31
We are to watch and pray, “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” Mark 13:33
