“Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength;  Each one appears before God in Zion.” Psalm 84:5-7

The valley of Baca is the valley of weeping. 

When we experience a loss, notice we go through the valley. We must set our hearts on a pilgrimage to be visitors. A pilgrim only remains in one place for a short time. And as we do so, we are blessed if we rely upon the Lord’s strength. We don’t go around it (ignoring the loss); we go through it and do so with the Lord. When we do this, we get stronger and stronger.
